Privacy Policy

1. What is covered

This policy covers the eBay Fee & Profit Calculator Chrome extension (version 1.1.0) and the eBay Fee Calculator page on NoxaKit. It sits alongside the site-wide privacy policy.

2. Data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or usage data, and we operate no server that receives your input.

The extension makes no network requests of any kind. There is no server to send anything to.

3. What is stored on your device

So the tool remembers your setup between visits, the following is saved locally, via Chrome's extension storage:

• Your calculator settings: eBay site, business or private seller, category, seller level, ad rate, tax rate and theme
• The numbers you type into the calculator, and the cost you enter against individual eBay items

If Chrome Sync is switched on, Chrome may sync the extension's settings across your own devices under your Google account. That is handled by Google under your Chrome settings and never reaches us. Clearing your browser data, or removing the extension, deletes everything listed above.

4. What the extension reads

• The item price, postage price and category breadcrumb of the eBay listing you are viewing, so the panel can calculate fees

This reading happens inside your browser, only on the page you are looking at, and only to produce the result shown on screen. Nothing read from a page is sent to us, and nothing is kept beyond what section 3 lists.

5. Permissions and why they exist

• storage — Saves your settings (eBay site, seller type, category, ad rate) and the costs you type in, on your own device.

Site access is limited to:

• eBay item pages only (/itm/* on ebay.co.uk, ebay.com, ebay.de, ebay.fr, ebay.it, ebay.es, ebay.com.au, ebay.ca, ebay.ie, ebay.at, ebay.nl, ebay.be, ebay.ch and ebay.pl)

6. What we do not do

• No analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or advertising
• No accounts, sign-in or email collection
• No selling or sharing of data, because there is no data to sell
• No sending the pages or numbers you work on to us — we never receive them
• No remote code: the extension ships all of its code inside the package

7. Children

This is a general-purpose tool for people running a business or a website. It is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above changes with it, and the change is noted in the updates list on the tool page.
